Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled across Finsol's engagements — professional services, product subscriptions and licences, and scheduled consultations. The specific commercial terms of your signed agreement, Statement of Work (SOW) or order form take precedence over the general terms below where they differ.
Because most of our work is delivered under bespoke contracts, the exact cancellation notice periods, fees and refund eligibility for your engagement are set out in that contract. This page describes our standard approach where a contract is silent.
Professional services & project engagements
Consulting, implementation, migration, managed-services and other project engagements are governed by the SOW or master services agreement signed by both parties. Cancellation of an in-progress engagement requires written notice as specified in that agreement (typically 30 days).
- On cancellation, you are invoiced for all work performed, deliverables accepted, and non-cancellable third-party or licence costs committed up to the effective cancellation date.
- Fees for work already completed and accepted are non-refundable.
- Any prepaid amounts for work not yet started are refunded, net of costs already incurred on your behalf.
- Where a deposit or mobilisation fee is stated in the SOW, its refundability is governed by that SOW.
Product subscriptions & licences
Subscriptions to our products (including Vaidyo, Dolfino and Assuron) renew and cancel according to the term stated in your order form.
- You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term, and access continues until then.
- Subscription and licence fees already paid for the current term are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial terms unless your order form expressly states otherwise.
- One-time setup, onboarding, configuration and data-migration fees are non-refundable once the work has commenced.
Demos, workshops & paid consultations
For any scheduled paid session — a discovery workshop, assessment or paid consultation — we ask for at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel.
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled time are eligible for a full refund or a free reschedule.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours may be rescheduled once at no charge, subject to availability.
- No-shows without notice are non-refundable. Product demos and introductory consultations offered free of charge carry no fee and require no refund.
How to request a cancellation or refund
To cancel an engagement or request a refund, contact your Finsol account manager in writing, or email us via the address on our Contact page. Please include your company name, the relevant order or SOW reference, and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 30 business days.
Exceptions
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection or other mandatory law. Finsol may, at its sole discretion, make exceptions to these terms on a case-by-case basis; doing so does not waive the policy for future requests.
